Lotus Asana Yoga Studio is the data controller for the personal information you share with us through this site or when booking classes.

When you enquire, book, or pay for a course, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, preferred start date and course/package choice. Our checkout also processes payment card details for the transaction. The site itself may collect limited cookie and analytics data — see our Cookie Policy.

We use your information to process bookings, respond to enquiries, provide the classes you've paid for, and — only if you opt in — occasionally send you news about upcoming courses. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in every email.

We rely on contract to deliver the classes you book, legitimate interests to run and improve the studio, and consent for optional marketing communications and non-essential cookies.

We keep booking records for up to 7 years to meet UK accounting requirements. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry-only messages are deleted after 12 months of inactivity.

We share only what's necessary with the service providers we use to run the studio — for example a payment processor to take your card payment, and an email service provider to send booking confirmations. These providers act on our instructions and are bound by their own data-protection obligations. We never sell your data.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to certain processing, and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below.
